Auchlochan Garden Village was selected from more than 400 hundred entries as winners of the
Innovation and Development Award
, at the Scottish Care Awards 2011, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland. Auchlochan picked up the award for embracing new staff training programmes, receiving significant refurbishment and introducing an on-site Chaplaincy Team to assist with the spiritual well-being of residents, carers and staff.
